The Company was founded in 2005 by the Director Kay Herbert. Kay has worked in a warehouse environment for over 20 years and is still very much involved in the day to day running of Global FLT. Kay was then joined by her husband Ken to assist with the administration side of the operation. Ken has been involved with transport logistics and warehousing for almost 40 years. In addition to providing training on a wide range of lift trucks and Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), including rough terrain telehandlers, Global FLT are now able to provide IPAF approved courses on all types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), and we also carry out instruction on Aluminium scaffold towers, working at height and ladder training.
